SAT Prep and Teaching Content: It doesn’t have to be either or...Preparing our children for high-stakes testing (SAT, ACCESS, ISA, etc.) is important. It helps them with their future goals and determines our school rating. However, figuring out how to balance necessary test prep with teaching your content can be a challenge. Stand alone test prep activities can feel forced and student buy-in can be difficult if they don’t see the relationship to what you’re studying.
